Firefox crashes

PC sat unused for several hours, then became unresponsive. Had to power down by holding start button. (Not sure if this is relevant, but thought it might be). When I restarted, all seemed OK except Firefox crashed before it started. I tried several things suggested on various web sites, that didn't help, so I uninstalled and did a clean reinstall. Still get a crash before it starts.

Not sure I did the troubleshooting information process below correctly, so I copied the crash report and pasted it below. Hope that helps. Any advice you can give will be greatly appreciated! Jim D

SOLVED PROBLEM - After trying a multitude of proposed solutions that didn't help, I restored my PS to an earlier date and the issue was resolved. Painless solution that, hopefully, will hold long-term.
