why wont firefox allow a standard windows user to save .sol files?

i am using a standard windows userid when i play flash games. this is a security measure against malware. i have noticed that Firefox (my default browser) does not allow the saving of .sol files which are used by flash games to continue a game. why wont firefox allow a standard windows user to save .sol files? google chrome does not have the same defect.
