Firefox 47.0. open page in protected window cannot print file using either pdf or xps software printers

opening bank page in protected browser and trying to print details make program hang indefinitely using any software printer including microsoft xps writer under windows 7 home edition. previous releases of firefox had no problems.

You could try the following:

  1. Type about:config in Firefox’s location bar (address bar).
  2. Accept the warning/risk.
  3. Type print.print in the Find box.
  4. Double-click each bolded parameter starting with print.print, if any (or right-click them and select Reset).
  5. Restart Firefox and retry.
