I just downloaded Mozilla to manage my emails. I have two gmail accounts and several IMAP accounts. No matter which account I email from, I get a small pop up window that says the message above. Indeed, no emails are being copied into my "sent" file. Can we fix this?

AS you use IMAP then you need to subscribe to see the server 'Sent' or in gmail it is called 'Sent Items' folder. Copies cannot be put into a server folder if it is not actually subscribed and shown in the Folder Pane. File > Subscribe

Then make sure settings Account Settings are correct.

right click on mail account and select 'Settings' work through each mail account.... click on 'Copies & Folders' for the mail account

For gmail/hotmail/outlook: Copies are automatically put in the Sent folder, so you do not need to specify this otherwise you may get duplicate copies. uncheck 'Place a copy in'

For all other imap mail accounts: select : 'Place a copy in' Select: 'Other' and choose the 'Sent on mail account name'

click on OK
