new incoming message notification popup bubble shows all incoming messaages are from me rather then the actual sender

After updating to Thunderbird version 45, the popup bubble for incoming messages that appears simultaneously with the audio cue shows that the incoming message is from me (as named in my account settings) rather than the sender of the message. This was working correctly with the previous version of Thunderbird.
