hello tessiss, first please make sure that the date, time & timezone are set correctly on your system. if this doesn't solve the issue (or it is already set properly), a solution depends on the individual circumstances:

• what is the error code shown when you click on advanced on that error page?
• please also give us more information about the error by clicking on the error code, copying the text to the clipboard and then pasting it here into a reply in the forum.

it is working now but the clock is not keeping the right time, this is an older laptop. my laptop died so i am using my sisters old one an the clock runs slow i am not sure it will work tomorrow its more of a maybe an i dont have an error code since its working

ok, if the clock is going off consistently this probably means that the so called "cmos battery" in your laptop which is powering the real-time-clock in the device has probably gone empty. many laptops are designed so that this battery is a user replaceable part - so you might want to check in your manual if that is the case for you as well.

ok i could not change the battery no access to a store since i am in the boonies but this morning firefox worked fine until about 10 minutes ago then it stopped an i got the same message again as you can see =

unfortunately this indicates that the clock is going off again - the ocsp security protocol requires that the time is correct (+/- a few hours).
