Around April, Microsoft patched Cortana to no longer direct websearches to third party browsers. Now instead it directs to Edge and exclusively Bing.

I was wondering if there is a plan for a workaround for this search feature to be reenabled for Firefox or if all hope is lost.

hi, unfortunately microsoft chose to lock out third-party browsers/search-engines from that functionality. there is no easy workaround for this that could be implemented by firefox :-/ http://www.ghacks.net/2016/04/29/microsoft-blocks-search-engines-windows-10/

Welp, there goes another Windows 10 feature that I can no longer use. What a wonderful operating system!
