What is your computer system and Firefox?

Type about:preferences#privacy<enter> in the address bar.

The button next to History, select Use Custom Settings.

Turn on Remember my browsing and download history At the bottom of the page, turn on Clear History When Firefox Closes. At the far right, press the Settings button. Turn on Active Logins.

Platform : Windows, Firefox version : 45+

Yes FredMcD. This is the manual way of clearing Active Logins. But I am looking for an API which I can access via javascript to clear this cached login.

In Internet Explorer we do this via document.execCommand("ClearAuthenticationCache");

Does Firefox provides any API like this. ?
