We have a server running in amazon which has a certificate configured as follows:

CN=hostnameA.us-west-2.compute.internal Subject Alternate Name: IP Address: 10.102.11.120 DNS Name: 10.102.11.120 DNS Name: hostnameA.compute.amazonaws.com

When connecting to the server using firefox 46 and 46.0.1 I am presented with the following error:

hostnameA.compute.amazonaws.com uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is only valid for the following names: 10.102.11.120, 10.102.11.120, hostnameA.compute.amazonaws.com

Error code: SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN

This works in both Chrome and IE, but not in firefox. Any suggestions on what can be done to get this working
