Version 2.0 is the most recent version of Firefox for iOS.

Maybe you mean you need version 5.0 of Apple's iOS operating system? If you have an iPad 3 or 4, you're already using a recent enough version.

If you have an older iPad, you may need to upgrade the operating system.

The error message says I need Mozilla Firefox version 5 or later. It gives me other options, but my employer insists that it MUST be Firefox.

Based on the screenshot you provided it seems that the website doesn't realize you're using an iPad, it thinks you're using a desktop or laptop computer. That's why it suggest you use Firefox 5 or higher (which is a desktop version).

You could click "Proceed anyway" and see it that works. If that doesn't work, you could try accessing the website through Apple's own browser Safari.

If that doesn't work either, the only option is to access the website on a desktop or laptop computer, as it won't work on an iPad.

The Firefox shell browser for iOS is a recent thing and does not have the traditional Firefox Release versions like the desktop and Android Firefox does.
