Search bar not working
I updated today to FF 44.0.2. Search bar is not working anymore. I cannot even type on it. It's there (not grayed) but after clicking on it, the cursor does not show up. Thanks in advance for your help,

That's part of the new Adaptable Search Bar feature in the add-on to use the location bar for web searches as well. You can still keep the search bar by going to the add-on's preferences and disabling the preference "Show search bar only when it's not empty".

Can you reach the search bar with the Tab key or with the keyboard shortcut (e.g. Ctrl+K)?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (3-bar Menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: 3-bar Menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
Yes, it's the "Beyond Australis" add-on that blocks it. This add-on usually creates some sort of problem with bar icons. Good news is that they update it often. Thanks!

Thanks a lot quicksaver. I have many add-ons and I usually don't bother reading what the updates are about, so I missed this new functionality.
