There is no option to view html source code in firefox 44.0.1 (Welsh version), is this an error?
Installed version 44.0.1 (20160205155049) this morning. Ctrl-g did not, as it used to, show html source, but went to search (as does ctrl-f). There does not apear to be an option 'view source' on the menus. Is this an oversight or deliberate policy? I'm using the Welsh language version (Cymraeg) if this makes any difference.

As far as I know, viewing the HTML source code is Ctrl
+ U
. I'm pretty sure that is how it has always been.

For some reason it's been ctrl-g for some reason in the Welsh version (only?) for a few versions now. I'd got so used to it I'd plain forgot to try ctrl-u. This solves my problem, but I still can't find the menu option!
You can find "View Page Source" in the (Web) Developer sub menu in the Tools menu and the 3-bar Menu button drop-down list.
- Tools > Web Developer > Page Source (Ctrl+U)
- right-click on the web page and select "View Page Source"
You can also look at developer tools like the page inspector.
Many thanks for this. Found it all now, panic over :-)
You're welcome.
