Hi

In respect of your Firefox account and Sync, I recommend you have a read of this article which explains what to do if you have not received a confirmation email.

Firefox Sync is a bespoke service to help manage bookmarks across (for example) desktop and mobile copies of Firefox. It is not bookmark backup or storage.

You will still be able to use other websites that require a username and password (such as this forum) as they are different services to Firefox Sync.
