How can I get Firefox to start in my external monitor (like it used too, since forever)? I have a MacBook Pro with an external monitor, running 10.9.5 and Firefox 44.0.

I open FF and the Profile selection dialog comes up on my external monitor. When I select a profile to open, FF opens in my MacBook screen. I move it to my external monitor, maximize it, then close it. I reopen it and again it opens in my MacBook screen. I have tried all the typical things, including looking through all the options in about:config.

I have searched the internet far and wide and can find NOTHING that addresses this issue.
