I can't see instant messages in Firefox Hello.

When I send or receive instant messages in Firefox Hello, I hear the notification sound and a space opens below the webcam view where the instant message bubbles would appear, but no instant messages appear. When I type a message and press enter, it shows up on the other person's screen but not on mine and it does not remove the text from the textbox I've typed it into. I am using Hello on Firefox browser on a Lubuntu OS. Thank you.

Hi,

When you're in a conversation, please can you:

  • go to Tools -> Web Developer -> Browser Console (not the web console!)
  • Then try sending or receiving a text message, whilst monitoring the console.

Hopefully one or more errors will be logged. If you can copy and paste them here, or provide screenshots, that would be likely give us a clue as to what the issue is.
