Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox?
No I do NOT have "Old Firefox" and those things 2 links did not solve the problem...
In my Windows.OLD There is NO TEMP file but In current WINDOWS it does show up
I know it's possible to Do a system REstore, back to Window 7. But will my bookmarks be there???
I know it's possible to Do a system REstore
Some users reported that system restore contaminated the Firefox files. I've called the big guys to help you. Good luck. Please wait for a responce.
To what Windows account are you logged on?
The screenshot shows TEMP as the current user account.
Is that the Windows account that you normally use?
I saw another user that had this issue. There was another folder that the file pointed to, but do not quote me on that. Check to see if there is another profile folder in the Program Files.
Another thing you can try if you do not find another profile folder on there is if you try to start Firefox with the Profile Manger to see if there is a profile detected? (@corel, @FredMcD do you know if it works this way? )
I'm not sure if the Profile Manager will find a profile it did not create.
I am logged in as Romeo. But when I look into WINDOWS. OLD/Users the TEMP FOLDER is missing which mean I can't find the PROFILE folder
However in the C:Users/ the TEMP FOLDER shows up..
If u ever want remote access to my computer let me know ok
User profiles are located here; C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles
