I have been using AdBlock Plus. I have sensory issues, and pop-ups, animation, etc. can be painful. I also have trouble with sites trying to run scripts and freezing as they fail. So it's very useful.

Unfortunately, on the Mac, it causes two windows to load whenever opening anything, the home page, and the specified html file or link behind it, and it breaks paste-without-formatting using command-shift-v. So it'd be nice to have something else.
