"browser.search.showOneOffButtons" was a temporary pref starting in Firefox 34. The underlying code that supported that preference is gone as of Firefox 43.

To get the old Search Bar scheme back, this is the best that I can recommend at this time. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/classicthemerestorer/ has an option for Old search (experimental) in CTR Options > General UI (1)

"xpinstall.signatures.required" won't affect the Search Bar, it is related to the signing feature for extensions and language packs. This pref is also a temporary pref, but for a lot shorter time period. It only applies to Firefox 43; it won't be valid in Firefox 44 and later versions.
