Firstly I am not a "techie" so know very little about some functions of the PC Have had firefox for some time and quite happy with it except the home pasge suddenly lost the sign in and top tool bar. I can access the home page from the screen icon but cannot sign in. Currently also using B T Yahoo which I want to keep, and did previously have no problem linking from Firefox home page. Should I go to control panel and delete Firefox and start again, or is there another solution.

Thanks.

Hi, you may have lost the bookmarks bar, so right click in the tab bar (but not on a tab) and tick/check Bookmarks Toolbar. Also see - Bookmarks Toolbar - Display your favorite websites at the top of the Firefox window.

Alternatively, you may be in Full Screen Mode: Point to the top of the screen, then right click > Exit Full Screen Mode. You can also press the F11 key, but depending on the configuration of your computer, you may also need to hold down Fn at the same time. More - Use Firefox in Full Screen mode. The Full Screen button should also be in the 3-bar menu. More - Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars.

If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you.

Hi, Did follow instructions without success. Within the Firefox menu there is a tab to "verify account" which I did and followed the prompts. This downloaded Firefox again from start, but still not able to access e mail. Did have a prompt to upgrade browser, again which I did. Just as a thought, I note my 'Home page Tabs' only show my existing ISP which is on Internet Explorer 9 ? Am I supposed to add Firefox tab to enable it to operate. Like I mentioned in original question, the workings of a PC are not the top of my league.

Thanks

Hi, if you have lost the bookmark for your email that used to be on the bookmarks toolbar, you will need to first go to the email site, now click on the bookmarks star twice, then in the dialog box that opens, use either of the upper, downward pointing arrows to select Bookmarks Toolbar > Done.

The following may also be of some help - Bookmarks in Firefox.
