When uploading files from "my documents" to an e-mail the operation is unsuccessful and timeouts followed by a a BT error message #18.

I have tried suspending the AVG protection to no effect - an ideas??

What email service are you attempting to use? Are you having issues with a web based email website or the Thunderbird email client?
