In some sites (e.g. https://www.adcrowd.com/en) firefox detect rss feed automatically and shows the icon (see attached screenshot). i have a page /rss.xml but firefox didnot detect it. What should i do on my site so that firefox can detect rss feed and show the icon?

That icon is for the Reader View feature. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-reader-view-clutter-free-web-pages

The RSS feed button isn't in the Location Bar any longer. It is labeled Subscribe and doesn't appear or show by default; the user has to move that button to a Toolbar or the Menu Panel to see and use it.

You can add a Subscribe button FxSubscribeButton to your Firefox toolbar or menu (the button will darken on pages with web feeds). See Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars to learn how.

But why it is visible for some sites but not for my?

You only see the reader icon when a web page confines to a specific layout (containers) and there is also a minimum character count for containing elements.
