How to keep active downloads visible in download window?

Hi,

in case I got my English terminology wrong (using German version), by 'download window' I mean the one you call up with Ctrl+J in the windows version and ctrl+shift+y in the Linux version. Lately, this has been renamed 'library' ('Bibliothek' in the German version, I don't know the actual current English name) and cluttered up with other functions besides showing the downloads for some reason.

Aaanyway:

My problem is that it shows downloads in the order in which they were started. This means if a number of smaller downloads is started after a longer one, the longer one is pushed out of the window and no longer visible without scrolling, even though it might not yet be completed.

Is there a way to configure Firefox so that it will always keep active downloads in the top rows / visible in this window? Maybe just sort downloads in order of completion or something?
