Email doesn't update, but I don't get an error.

I have a Firefox Flame running Boot2Gecko 2.5.0.0-prerelease and for the last two weeks I haven't been able to check my gmail account in the built in mail app.

It spins as though checking, and eventually stops spinning and doesn't update. I finally realized the problem was that my Two-Factor Auth was expired (it did expire everywhere else) but I went into my mail settings and successfully reauthorized and the inbox still isn't updating.

The "last checked" says 2 weeks ago, so it knows it isn't connecting. But how do I troubleshoot this?

Which device and FxOS version are you using?

In general you can configure how often the device will look for new emails and it should work as expected. You can also sync manually using the arrows-in-a-circle in the lower-left corner of your inbox.

I'm confused by why it is that the first replies to my last two questions, both of which led with the device and OS, were "Which device and FxOS version are you using?"

I get the sense that you didn't read my question.

I am aware of how Gaia email works when working as expected. It has stopped working as expected and I'm trying to figure out how to figure out why that is.

You should be more specific in your initial post then. Device and version are quite important for us to know. If you are on a Flame with nightly builds for example, chances are that it is indeed a new bug. We are no psychics.

My initial question *did* state the device and version, though.

I am sorry Amanda, I don't seem to see the device or version in your first question either

It says "I have a Firefox Flame running Boot2Gecko 2.5.0.0-prerelease" -- that's the first line of this question.

Another recent question [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/que.../1090675] is the same. I started the question with the device (Flame) and the version (Boot2Gecko 2.5.0.0-prerelease) and the first reply was "Which device? Which version of FFOS?"
