On my Alcatel OneTouch Fire E (Firefox OS 2.0), I sometimes use the e-mail application. When I want to save the attached pdf-file clicking on the download button, a rotating circle inicating the file is being downloaded, but it does not stop. After 20 seconds of waiting for the 89kb file, I closed the app due to no further (re)action by the phone.

When I browse through the sd card, I can locate that file at /[sd]/download (identical file name), but if I try to open it, it is displayed as a empty / blank pdf.

How to solve this problem? Is there an better app for e-mails than the preinstalled one? (Will Thunderbird be available for Firefox OS in future?) Who can I contact for further information / advice? (is it possible to contact the Gaia Developers Team [it was programmed by them according to app manager] directy?)

Hi, @Shaymin!

Did it work before, for you?

Can you test it by opening your email through its online interface (accessing using the browser)?

What mail server are you using?

Note that Thunderbird for any mobile platform is not in the plans right now, but Marketplace brings some email clients..
