Cant use "login using Facebook" buttons on sites. Like DOTD game. Even when FB is logged in, it still wont go

First noticed this on the game Dawn of the Dragons. I dont use the FB site, I use the standalone. It has a button to login to FB and when FB is already logged in, it will load the game. If not, a popup box appears with login for FB. It doesnt work now for anything that uses the FB login. Like its blocked. I use Adblock plus and havent changed anything, so it doesnt seem to make sense that its the issue, but, who knows. There are several sites I use that the login is blocked for FB. Windows 8.1 fully updated everything and no other issues.

Use this link to check that your plugins are up-to-date. If any are listed as unknown or research, do not worry about them.

Type about:preferences#advanced<Enter> in the address bar.

Under Advanced, Select General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.

Restart Firefox. Are there any problems?

Are you using Firefox in a normal window or in a Private mode window?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

OK, none of this helps. Is the "LOGIN WITH FB" button a java tool? Could this be a java issue? Ive run in safe mode and it works fine and Ive disabled all add ons and this does not help. What a pain this is. Its gotta be a simple thing.
