I am a Comcast subscriber and evidently my account got compromised as did thousands of others, so I had to change my password. Now although I am still receiving my Thunderbird e-mails on my iOS devices I cannot send them. I have looked at settings, but can't figure out what went wrong. Thunderbird works fine on my Windows computers.

Hmm, normally Thunderbird only runs on "desktop" operating systems like MacOS X, Windows, and Linux. Are you doing something special to run Thunderbird on your iOS devices?

If the problem is with Apple's mail software, check whether this article helps:

You are correct. It is not a Thunderbird problem. Tomorrow I will follow the instructions in the article you referred me to in your reply and see if I can fix it. If not I will contact Apple. Right now I am going to bed.
