Since updating, the General tab in Options keeps opening by itself, unbidden.

Since the update to 4.2, the General setting in Options keeps opening by itself. Why does it do that, and ho do I make it stop? There is nothing there I want to change.

You can check the home page setting to make sure that you haven't appended the about:preferences page.

  • Tools > Options > General > Startup: Home page

Firefox supports multiple home pages separated by '|' (pipe) symbols.
