When I first open Thunderbird it takes 2.3 minutes to open .This is new . usually open instantly in the past. When open works fine. I have cleared all emails to a minimum . I did have a lot of deleted & spam emails .I have cleared this out but still very slow to open. Can anyone help please. Brian Martin

Thank you for your answers . I have tried uninstalling & reinstalling . It does seem to be a bit quicker but not instant as it used to be . Maybe I will have to live with it or disable it alltogether and try another email client .Any suggestions.
