I have Firefox version 41 and Windows 10, and Firefox is "not responding" and crashes continuously. How can I fix this?

Crashes occur on facebook, generally while playing games, on gmail's inbox, or any website I'm trying to view. I've even considered switching to Chrome but I like Firefox better.
