When ever i click on hypertext, a new window is open without my order, why?

Posted

I don't want to have ad pictures or ads to be displayed.Secondly am worried on seeing a new window being opened without any order from my end. It is not only irritative but also wastes lots of time. Do suggest.

Typically the person who wrote the hyperlink decides whether that hyperlink is to open in a new window or in the same window. Each Firefox user can opt to have new windows open in a new tab, instead.

See Options > Tabs = Open new windows in new tab instead

If the issue is unwanted advertisements, why not use an ad-blocking add-on? "ad block" search @AMO

This what I an using: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ublock-origin/
