I am running MAC OS 10.10.5 with Firefox 40.0.3. Signed up my wife for Swagbuck; however, now everytime I click the “+” to add a new window it open at “search.swagbucks.com/?f=5” and not the window showing previously sites that i Have pinned. Now I did go into “extensions” removed the Swagbuck.com extension; went to preferences and changed homepage to the window i want and I did change the search engine to google and deleted “swagbucks” search engine and then I restarted Firefox. With all this I still get “search.swagbucks.com/?f=51“ whenever I click “+” to add a window.

I NEED HELP in getting rid of this annoying, in my opinion, “MALWARE”

Thanks in advance for your help.

Mike

Bookmark and use this; Download the Mozilla Search Reset {web link} This add-on is very simple: on installation, it backs up and then resets your search preferences and home page to their default values, and then uninstalls itself. This affects the search bar, URL bar searches, and the home page.
