Bookmarks gone after prompted update from Firefox- new Old Firefox Data folder and Firfox itself have bookmarks form 2013!
I was prompted to upgrade Firefox- I did, and now all of my bookmarks reverted to the 2013 versions and a new folder appeared on my desktop that says "Old Firefox Data." I looked in there and still- 2013 bookmarks. I looked in my user folder- application support- why oh why do I have 3 identities in there? This is a BROWSER, not an email address. Also all out of date by a few years. I am a little miffed at Firefox for no warning of any kind this would/could happen when simply doing a what I thought would be an update.
Help! Chris

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file (bookmarks, history) in the Firefox profile folder.
