Evening everyone,

I have recently been tweaking my overall Windows 7 Desktop theme. I've found a theme I truly enjoy, however I seem to have a conflict with only Firefox. The theme is darker, with a light foreground to help to read words. However, the default theme of Firefox, being a sort of light background and foreground, make it nearly impossible to read tabs, as well as intrude upon the window function buttons in the upper right. I'm trying to figure out if there's a way to give my theme control over this application or if there's something I can to remove this confliction.

Example: http://i.imgur.com/QYMsj3J.png (Also attached)

Thanks!

What is that theme called and, if you downloaded it, where did it come from? In case someone has the inclination to try to get "hands on" with it.

I've since changed themes to test different variations, but the theme was Steam VS I believe. From Deviant Art. The issue occurs with every theme I've used. I believe I fixed the problem, however, by opening an elevated command prompt and using the command: sfc /scannow

The command scans through all system files and restores any manipulates files to their original status. I must have manipulated my ExplorerFrame.dll at some point which resulted in this problem.

This add-on can change the colors Firefox uses. There are other add-ons at the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for what you want.

Classic Theme Restorer (Customize Australis) {web link} Restore squared tabs, appmenu, add-ons bar, small button view and more on Australis UI (Windows/MacOSX/Linux + Fx 29+).

This will restore many of the things the last upgrades took away.
