Firefox 40.0.3 on Windows 10 won't open Facebook: "Secure Connection Failed"

Since recently I can't access Facebook through Firefox!

I see the following error message:

Secure Connection Failed

The connection to www.facebook.com was interrupted while the page was loading.

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

I've had this problem since I updated my OS to Windows 10 (and Firefox was probably updated too).

I've tried a few fixes I've found on forums, but none of them worked.

What's really annoying is that Firefox thinks it's cleverer than me. How else should I interpret blocking of a website without a possibility of adding a security exception by the user? Firefox tells me: "You shouldn't open this website, it's not secure" - "But it's Facebook, come on!" - "I know better" :-)

By the way, Microsoft Edge opens Facebook without a hitch.

Please help!
