In the process of cleaning my desk, I tipped my keyboard over. I had the browser window open to ESPN3 to a college football replay. My keyboard has a shortcut key to open new tabs. Unbeknownst to me at the time, the shortcut key was depressed over 150 times, opening up a new tab for each. In addition, each tab wanted to open up a new pop-up window of the game. I opened the task manager and shut the process down. Upon opening Firefox again, it automatically opened all of the tabs and windows up again before I could do anything. So...after shutting the process down again I restarted the computer. Lo and behold, the same thing happened upon start up. Soooo...shut the computer down. Same thing. Soooooooo...I uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it. Same thing again. I'm at a loss. Please advise!

You can check for problems with the sessionstore.js file in the Firefox profile folder that stores session data. Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost and you will have to recreate them (make a note or bookmark them if possible).

You can use this button to go to the current Firefox profile folder:

If you have a shortcut to open the browser to another site, use it.
