I refreshed FF, which did nothing except cost me hours putting back all my add-ons and settings, reinstalled the latest FF from a fresh download from Mozilla, reinstalled the latest Flask, Shockwave, Reader, etc. from Adobe. Disabled and re-enabled other addons, and rebooted the computer between most changes while trying to fix this.

Is safe mode available other than through the 'help' drop-down (which I cannot access)?

Thanks,

Dale

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?

Are you talking about the Firefox tool bar?

Having more than one version of a program may cause issues. You must remove the older programs. Then get the current full installer.
