When upgraded Firefox lost all my bookmarks. How to get back

Today I upgraded my Firefox to the new version.... of course I lost all the "Theme", display style etc. etc. ... most of all I even lost the bookmarks. Now that is very inconvenient and time consuming to re do . Maybe some bookmarks needed some input which I may not have available now...

So is it possible to get those back....

Mozilla installers should not have lost user settings (profile folder).

Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox?
