plugin.container exe suddenly crashes

Posted

hi. since a few days ago my firefox on windows xp keeps on crashing when i click on the mouse pad after it opens. it crashes instantly then it stops working at all. this is only on my old windows xp but it used to work fine on it before. it keeps on saying plugin.container exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. other firefox programs on my mac and windows 10 work fine. can this be fixed? it just started happening so suddenly.

In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP in front of the numbers/letters, click it and select Submit.

Using your mouse, mark the most resent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box below and paste them in.
