Since update to 40.0 browser takes 3 - 5 seconds to change between tabs

Posted

I'm using XP sp3. Since update to 40.0 browser takes 3 - 5 seconds to change between tabs. I've refreshed Firefox and no add on is active but problem still persists. This is a shame as Firefox was very fast before update, any ideas before I defect to Chrome?
