How do i stop the unwrapping of my paragraphs when I send an email.

My paragraphs of plain text get unwrapped when I send an email.

This messes up the formatting of my email. Although I have CRLF at the end of each line, Thunderbird removes them from a paragraph making it one long line of text. Often the text is code fragments or such and that makes it unreadable. The formatting is correct as viewed in the Send Mail editor, but gets unwrapped when I hit send.

I want the text sent as I see it in the email editor without Thunderbird removing any line terminations that unwrap or doing any other reformatting.

I cannot find an option setting for preventing reformatting of my text.

How do I stop Thunderbird from removing my line terminations?
