Attachments in forwarded emails cannot be opened. Why?
I have Thunderbird set up with a filter that routinely forwards certain incoming emails (with attached documents) to a small group of other individuals.
It has always worked like a charm. The last two days when such an email gets forwarded...when the recipients click on the attachment they get a message with the name of the document...and "MICROSOFT WORD 97-2004" but nothing opens.
Oddly -- if I manually forward the same original email-- the MS Word attachment opens normally.
I recently upgraded to the Thunderbird 40.0 beta -- could this be the problem?
