I use the latest edition of the Firefox browser (v 40.0.2) on my Mac, running OS 10.6.8. I use AOL.com for my mail server. When I go online w/Firefox, my home page is AOL Mail. From there, I use various bookmarks saved in Firefox to surf the Net or I search using my Google toolbar. If I stay online for more than 10min OR if I go to multiple sites, I receive this message: “YOU ARE NO LONGER LOGGED IN. PLEASE LOGIN AGAIN.” This is a very recent problem as I never experienced this with earlier versions of Firefox. Could this be caused by a glitch in the newest version of Firefox or could it be due to too little bandwidth?

Thank you all for your responses. I received the message below from AOL Support this morning. So far, I've been online going to multiple sites for at least 20min without being asked to login again. So... I guess my problem is solved.
