Is there any way of getting build-in apps back to the home screen.

Currently I'm only able to access them using the search.

Firefox os 2.2

Restore the phone to get contacts app back

Restoring my phone would also remove all my settings and data not stored on the flash drive.

But the contacts app is still there, but not on the home screen. Am I able to "hack" it? Where are the home screen entries stored? Could I restore it with ADB without reseting my phone?

Is it available in menu

It's not possible by using adb .you can only get contacts app by restoring the phone only

This sounds strange to me. One thing that might be useful is the backup_restore script on github, explained at the bottom of this page... https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox_OS/Phone_guide/Flame/Updating_your_Flame It doesnt work perfectly, but it might help you keep some data, or even debug your problem based on the files backed up.
