Thunderbird hangs up since installing Windows 10. Is there a fix?
Since I installed Windows 10, Thunderbird intermittently hangs up for 30 seconds or longer. Do I need to reinstall?

Please start *Windows'* safe mode with networking enabled.
Still In Windows safe mode, start thunderbird in safe mode - http://support.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/kb/safe-mode
Does problem go away?
Please do reply to let us know. Thanks
Thanks for your suggestion, Wayne. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get Windows 10 to boot in safe mode with networking. I've tried two different boot options and, in both cases, cannot access the network.
The information at the link above pertains to safe mode not engaging. I have no problem getting to safe mode -- I have a problem getting Networking to work in safe mode.
The only reason I can imagine you don't get networking is you have q required networking piece that doesn't load in safe mode, like something for DSL.
Because networking in safe mode is clearly supported. http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2304-safe-mode-start-windows-10-a.html
