I change my home pages to google.com AND lastpass, but it won't stick

Each time I open FF, I get the welcome to FF page instead of my customized home pages. Also, my newurltab revets back to default instead of google.com. I have tried resetting FF and it does help for a while, but then the problem re-appears. Is there something I'm doing to cause this? PC running WIN 7 (with all current updates) with latest FF
