Updated to 38.1.0. It had trouble saving to Sent folder. Now can only send mail, How do I get it back to working normal?

First, all I did was download the update per the TB warning to do so. I have not changed a single setting in TB nor on my PC.

Now, when I send or reply to a message I get a error message that it cant' copy to the send folder.

I went to the send folder properties and clicked repair. Now, I see no emails in my Send folder, probably because they are on the server and TB hangs at Checking mail server capabilities...

Which means...

TB is not downloading any new mail.

This all started following the update to 38.1.0
