The version of Social Fixer that you have is from June 2013. There is a version from December 2014 that may well resolve that issue, but you'll need to follow the link to the author's site since he is no longer updating the version on the Add-ons site:

The first error says the problem is in the SocialFixer extension. The second one doesn't really indicate the source, so I don't know what is causing that.

By the way, for future reference, Java is a plugin used to run "applets" in some web pages, while JavaScript is a language used on most websites for interactivity and is handled directly by Firefox itself, not using the Java plugin.

Java and JavaScript are different languages. To avoid confusion, see:

The first screenshot shows a problem with the Social Fixer extension that shows in the System Details list. I don't know the cause of the second screenshot, but that may also be caused by an extension.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
