When reloading a saved web page, how can I stop redirects?
If I save the web page http://avxhome.se/music/music_video/concerts/Galuppi_L-Inimico_delle_Donne_Alessandrini_Panzarella.html to my hard drive, then try to reload it from the hard drive, it opens very briefly then immediately redirects to http://avxhome.se/ Other web pages (.e.g. http://www.deutschlandfunk.de/programmvorschau.281.de.html ) reload OK from a saved copy of the web page. Any suggestions on how to stop the redirecting? Opening the page from within avxhome.se works OK; it's just the attempt to reopen it from the saved web page that fails. I've tried several approaches and add-ons and nothing works. I'm using Firefox with Windows 7. If I try to load the saved page with Internet Explorer, nothing happens (i.e., IE freezes).

Hi Phil_Stevens, There is a built in setting to add a warning if a page redirects:
- about:preferences#advanced under General and Accessibility, check "Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload"
Thaks - I tried that and it didn't help. I didn't receive any warning. The problem seems unique to the avaxhome.se webpage I quoted, and only when I try to reload it from the saved .htm file. Could there be something unique in the script? I'm no programmer so reading coding details is no help to me.
