Firefox crashes

Posted

Whenever I am using firefox, the browser stops responding when I open multiple tabs or when I am on a webpage that takes a while to load. The cursor becomes the spinning rainbow and nothing is responsive. It has happened many times and it usually will happen even if I spend a long time on one webpage. How can I stop this from happening?

Do you have any other crash reports? Post the latest 5 - 7 please.

Product Firefox Version 38.0.1

Download Firefox Full Installer For All languages And Systems {web link}

The crash report flagged;

libsystem_kernel.dylib =  ? Word for Mac

HIToolbox

AppKit

CoreFoundation

For some time now, a lot of Mac’s with Microsoft programs have been crashing. Check with Microsoft / Mac support sites.

You can check for issues caused by plugins.

You can set plugins to "Ask to Activate" on the "Tools > Add-ons > Plugins" page.
