Cannot navigate in browser-empty dialogue box preventing any and all clicks
A few weeks ago-Mozilla browser home page changed to Yahoo on its' own-an empty dialogue box popped up in the middle-it will not go away and is preventing any type of navigation-cannot get in to settings or anything else because of this empty box-cannot uninstall browser either-desperate-not very happy with Mozilla at moment because it has been like pulling teeth to get any support, but my computer is too old to support IE update, Chrome and Opera suck-can anyone help me? P.S. I have also tried System Restore several times-doesn't help.

You are having problems after some kind of update or install? The box you are seeing, is it on the Firefox page, or it's own page?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac Options) key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?
While still in Safe Mode;
Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open the Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control>(Mac:<Command>) <Shift> A) In the Add-ons Manager, on the left, select Extensions. Look for and disable Yahoo anything.
After, restart Firefox.
The AOL toolbar extension has been reported to cause this issue with a blank pop-up window appearing on startup.
Thanks to both of you-I was able to get the browser started in Safe Mode and the problem turned out to be the "theme" I was using. Does that just happen periodically? I had initially downloaded a pc game before this happened, and part of the download asked if I wanted to download Yahoo home page and toolbar-I declined-but once the download completed, my home page was changed to Yahoo and I had that doggone empty dialogue box screwing everything up-my internet security did not indicate any virus or malware-just wondering if I need to be concerned about that, or if I need to completely reset Firefox??? I am also having an issue with my new tabs opening up in AOL instead of Bing-which is my home page and preference for new tabs-can't seem to find info on how to fix that and how to set up the Bing toolbar-when I download the toolbar, it says it already is my toolbar-but it isn't. Sorry to throw more stuff at you-but if you could let me know how to remedy this, I would really appreciate it. Thanks so very much for assisting me with getting my Mozilla browser going again-I thought I was going to lose my mind dealing with those other browsers!!!
